What does your profile say about you..

I got thinking after reading another thread and just wondered how we all think our profiles come across?
For example I think mine comes across as naughty but tasteful and maybe a little mysterious.. |

Perhaps we should all be asking others what our profiles say ... but in the spirit of the thread, I think mine says I know what I want and its pretty specific ... hence I don't get too many unsolicited messages, despite not having many filters on ... |

Never thought about how our profile comes across, everyone interprets what they see and read in a profile differently and place importance on different aspects of the profile they are reading.......
So don't worry what other people think, we never have  |

I agree it would be more interesting to comment on each other's profiles, but that might degenerate into the typical more gormless thread that requires you to comment on the one above, which I find quite irritating.
So I think we'll just have to settle for each of the contributors commenting on their own, which is ok-ish, if a bit bland |

I know what I want it to say, but I'm not sure if it succeeds.

I think mine is ok for me... what it says is true. Men rarely read they message or just look at the pics. . I am then in two minds whether to reply often. It seems pointless if they havent read it to bother. |

So if Pepper thinks we should be judging others I propose we judge the one just above so Throbbing Robin has a good sense of humour-great prof name- but he's looking for some romance as well as sex...maybe wants his romantic sex to be more open without taboos...his wife wont play ball. |

I haven't a clue how my profile comes across as I couldn't even begin to guess how others choose to interpret it. My aim was to be clear about what I wanted and what I also have to offer, in a polite friendly manner. That may or may not be how others read it. |

I was going to say about commenting on each others but didnt want to be a negative thread plus I think it's always good to think about how we come across on here when trying to attract the right audience if that makes sense |

I totally agree that as an exercise in making us think about our own profiles, and exactly what they are intended to convey, then it's a really useful exercise. |

I find it hard to understand how people can't know how there profile comes across.
Surely the feedback from people tells you and also the messages you receive.
If your attracting the right kind of people its doing what you want it to do, if its not then common sense would tell you to change it

Mine probably says sod all I mean it to say...as I wrote it half cut and without thinking much about it.

I was thinking about how my profile comes across the other day. Mainly because I don't get many messages from females.
I think it shows that I know what I'm looking for in a friendly way, positive way. It doesn't say loads about me but I was wary that I was going on a bit.
