COPENHAGEN DENMARK & Congleton

I know a lot (if not all) people have lives away from Fab..!

I know a lot of Women/Ladies get exceptionally a lot of mail..!

Having said that... Why it is so hard for some to reply with a Simple. N.I Not Interested.

When the mail sent, Is not generic, doesn't ask silly questions and clearly shows the sender HAS read the profile.

Am I being too sensitive or is it desperation on my part......

No, if you have written one that respects their profile and they are looking for guys to contact them, it would be nice for them to reply.

but many don't, so it's not you

good luck

Brighton - even Hove!

Don't worry if people don't reply. Don't even bother to look at whose looked, winks, don't bother looking to see if messages have been read or deleted.

Enjoy the good bits of fab and avoid those bits that can cause dismay.

Speaking with ladies on here; frankly; it's very time consuming to reply to 100+ messages each day, even with " no thanks".

And often, just replying, like that then prompts a return message of " why?".

Just take no reply as not interested...

By replying it also creates a conversation link so unless that person is blocked, if the lady decides to change age range or preferences, this link stays there so the guy can always message in future. For me personally, no reply/delete is best plus if theyve bothered to read profiles, Ive stated the reason if deleted.

Scotland - Aberdeen

As I am thinking about moving this year, I changed my location yesterday to do some intel. I have never had so many messages in 24hrs (apart from when I first joined of course)

See my status about still being in Aberdeen? And loads of my new mail think I am in Liverpool and available to meet tonight.

Classic example of people not reading the wordy bits

Have I replied to them? Nope!

I think a lot of people are frustrated as most men don't read the profile.

They see a pic think, phwoar I fancy a shag at that n then send some random gumph. Like.. Fancy a shag? You free today? Great profile!

So I'm afraid most men are tarred with the same brush and mails are deleted thru frustration. :-/

I don't get hot and bothered if my message just gets deleted...... It's just the way it is, why dwell on it

Send and forget and do the sums - you need to be sending targeted emails to people in similar volumes as the recipients get them. (Different users, of course).

If you get replies then plan your next step. Otherwise give it no thought.

I've thought fab should have the option to send a no thanks message, when you block a mail sender - an option, not a forced choice - but there has been low interest when I've suggested it before. And all fab improvements cost money and mean something else is delayed.

Suggest site changes in that part of the forum, as new features can influence how people behave.

Till then, just forget about your target meets until they ever get in touch.

No reply means not interested - simple as.

Do you reply to all the junk mail pushed through your letterbox or all the spam email?

It might help you to read the site FAQs and/or doing a forum search before posting.

Maybe your location puts them off? I can't see any other problems.

If the message has some content I generally reply, unless it's insulting, if it's just ....hey....or hiya X I know it's time wasted

As I mentioned in my original post. When you have read the profile (as I Alwys do). It's a little off putting when you spend time responding and not with some insulting text or "one liner" to not get a no thanks.

I whole heartedly agree with all of the comments.

By example (this has happened to 99% of people) You walk into a shop with intention to buy and the shopkeeper jumps on you before you have chance to look at what you want. How off putting is that.

Now you go into the some shop with the same intention. But this time no one offers to assist. Do you feel happy or a little pissed off.

What is the difference here...?

Ok. I'm not buying anyone as no one is a piece of meat or commodity. But surely the same Basic rules of politeness apply.

You obviously have selective reading.

It's not impolite.

No reply is a no thank you... Simple.... Don't understand anyone who posts these threads... Have you bothered to read site FAQs... And most people who don't reply to every message.. State it in their profiles too...... I'd advise anyone outraged by the no reply... To just avoid your sent box and concentrate on sending messages and your inbox......

We have lives

We want to browse the site too

We want to chat in forums

A lot want to go in chat /cam rooms

We can't do this if we reply to every message... It would be a 24 hour job.. Plus a lot of the time a simple 'no thank you' leads to 'Why' 'you sure ' or abuse

Don't take any non reply personally and you will enjoy this site a whole lot more x
