They look cool, but then a Sous-vide set up looks so much more versitile.

I think when i have my kitchen there will be no room between all the gadgets on the counter

Does it depend on the weight and size to the timings ?

The land of grey peas and bacon

I was tempted to get one but at £100 a pop I decided not to...seen cheaper ones but then I don't really have chips all that often to say yeah I'll get one.

My brother has one and did his roasties for the Christmas dinner in it which tasted great. Very impressed and thinking of getting one myself, however, versus the halogen oven and cost in mind I'm a bit split tbh.

I've found the Halogen ovens far more versatile and achieved better results.

Appreciate they are a bit less 'fry-like' and more 'oven-like' so I guess it depends what you want to achieve.

Thing is. Most things you buy & like that is fried you can't do in one of these things if like us you make it yourself at home. In my opinion, they're only any good for things like chips & sausages. Thinking they will end up in the cupboard with the sandwich maker and George Foreman grills

anything that goes in an ovan that fits really, it does great jacket potatos, anything like onion rings, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, potato wedges etc can go in it, my daughter even cooks pizzas in it, you dont put oil in for everything things that are oven ready dont need it, you can cook things like sausage and burgers and it comes with a wire tray to put them on so they aren't sat in the fat while cooking

Ha ha, my ex used to buy every kitchen appliance known to mankind, use it once then put it in the deepest recesses of the cupboard, never to see the light of day again

Multi functional perhaps, but don't expect great results. Would you do bacon in a microwave for example
