I'm sure this is why my mum is a hoarder! Hoping she kept my worst witch books somewhere!
She did donate the Thomas the Tank Engine videos though which I was pissed off about |

The first Famous Five book (Treasure Island) was released in 1942. I've got all of them, plus the Famous Five and You adventure books and the ones where you had loads of props to go with them, too. |

I'm 26 & I'm on a quest to reread all my childhood favourites & I still have some Jacqueline Wilsons knocking about
I used to adore Enid Blyton & Roald Dahl. Though I'm finding myself appreciating classics that I wouldn't have looked at twice as a child, like The Little Princess & Peter Pan. |

Famous five and secret seven! Ooo and the magic faraway tree with Aunt Fanny and Uncle Dick
I loved these books so much as a child that when my parents let me name my baby sister I picked a name from them.. Poor girl |

"Uhmmmmmmm no Aunt Fanny and no Uncle Dick.
Just Fanny and the other kids."
Bugger I'm getting confused.. Just looked it up, famous five had dick as one of the characters and he had an aunt Fanny! |

I just bought my lo a copy of my favourite ever book (because she's not having my copy), Enid Blyton may well have hated kids but she wrote a good yarn. The Magic Faraway Tree. |
