"Loved it.
Is Mary really dead? Lots of "ifs" & "probably" in her DVD.
Love sitting there all of us trying to guess who has done what.
"
Yeah I was thinking is she really dead ..the plot thickens |

In the original stories, Mary is dead
Mary Morstan is mentioned in passing in "The Adventure of the Crooked Man" and "The Boscombe Valley Mystery", but by the time of "The Adventure of the Norwood Builder" (after Holmes's return) Mary Morstan has died and Watson has returned to his former lodgings in Baker Street. Her cause of death is never mentioned |

Apart from Pete and Dud and a few other crumbs of nostalgia TV, Sherlock's return was for me as good as anything the main channels offered over the festive season ....
There is only so much natural history this frock-gezzer can stomach with his pickled eggs ..... |

The romantic in me took it to mean save him from his grief. New born baby to look after, wife killed, best friend a big shmuck....you'd feel a bit like withdrawing from the world.
But i could be wrong... |

Apparently whilst they were filming, the real life marriage of Freeman and the actor who plays Mary was disintegrating... |

Fantastic episode, really moving and brilliant twist. Felt that Toby Jones was a bit anticlimactic put I suppose he furthered the plot. Bring on next week! |

Mrs Hudson
- Ran a drug cartel
-Exotic dancer
- owns property in central London
-held Sherlock at gun point and kept him in the boot of her ASTON MARTIN
-not your house keeper
-absolute sass queen
I think the real star tonight was Una Stubbs. |

"who /what is sherringham ???????? "
Sherrinford was the name Arthur Conan Doyle almost gave Sherlock, and in non-Doyle books was often a third Holmes brother (*dramatically removes reading glasses and closes book*)
No idea where the show is going to go with it though. |

She was brilliant! I loved it when she said she knew the handcuffs were in the salad drawer.

Well absolutely nothing happened in this series.
Series 1 and 2 were good.
Series 3 was just weird.
This series was bland and then fizzled out without anything at all happening. |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
"Gods above this is dragging.Dare I Iplayer it later...
*Ponders*"
It ties up loose ends and I suspect there won't be any more, considering the careers of Benedict Cumberbuns and Martin Freeman. May as well. |

That was a tad dissapointing.
Like I'd been given beautifully wrapped present, which after hungrily tearing off the paper turned out to be a book I had already read |

If they were to just come back for single episode every few years, really give themselves the time to do something special, that'd be great. This was too drawn out. |
