"i know i sound horrible. their daughter goes to school with some people i know and their daughter has a wii, laptop, 32inch tv in her room, sorry sounds to me like they dont need to begg , espically she got the 32inch for christmas plus the laptop" Thats chinese whispers dear,never believe what you hear,and if thats the case how do you know it was not the grandparents that broughts it. | |||

"How do you know the beggar woman did not get that house through housing benefit? or the car through disability living allowance? You don't know the facts on that you are merely speculating. My dad as a brand new car though disability as he as MS. You don't the beggars history" if she has a car and house then why does she need to beg??? | |||

"Do you buy the Big Issue or give to Beggars ? I don't normally but in the bad Weather I gave one a Big Mac Meal and a Coffee and I watched him give the Burger to his Dog and he drank the Coffee "I have given money or food on occasions but you have to be careful. I once saw a really tatty beggar touting off tourists. He had filthy ripped clothes and his toes were sticking out of his shoes....his pinkies were as clean as a whistle and his fingernails were clean and short. 
The charities or Big Issue are the better option I would say. | |||

"in response to some of the points raised within this thread some people beg because they have to.........and some beg because its profitable!! desperate times call for desperate measure.............and some of the population realise this and take their opportunity to make a quick killing. u dont actually need to be homeless to sell the big issue..........my "friend" makesw at least 40 quid a day selling it on top of his benefits and sadly it is to fund his drug habit. granted that there are many vendors out there who dont and sometimes people just view them all as drug users....which is rather sad "I think the instant you inform people of what you have done...it ceases to be a charitable act. | |||
