I'm not sure I have been clean shaven much more than twice in the last 5 years - probably longer. I know that beards have become popular and 'Hipster' in the last 18 months. What's the ladies perception on it? There seems to be a marmite effect with some women loving them and others loathing? I've got a beard, tattoos and a couple of piercings so I know my 'look' puts many off but I thought I'd get a general overview. |

"It must be quite popular. I see a lot of alternative guys who want to show how unique they are growing beards and getting sleeves done. "
All my tattoos are custom and carry personal meaning. |

I used to like facial hair but I have gone right off it now with this latest trend. A lot of the men where I work are young and have full thick long beards. It's like working with a load of gnomes. Give me a clean shaven fella any day now. |

"I say just split the year. 6 months beard, 6 months no beard.
I do that when i shave, that and turn myself into amos from emmerdale farm or wolverine, hitler and a 1940's spiv"
Oh yes. The I do that too. Sometimes do silly ones like connect the side burns to moustache, shave bottom cheek and chin. |
