You had a meet last week at your home with a guy (or gal) and had a pretty good time… well you have no complaints and have said you’ll likely be asking them back sometime in the future.
Tonight, whilst channel hopping you see what looks like a photofit of what could be their face on the telly. You stop on the channel to discover it’s CrimeWatch and they (if it is them) are wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery; where one of the robbers seriously injured a man who by chance passed the rear doors of the shop as they were leaving. The witness is still in a coma. You watch the CCTV footage on the telly and there is someone holding the door open wearing the same clothes your meet was wearing. Guess what night it happened on… yep, the same night you met them… one hour before your meet.
Baring in mind what this person knows about you, where you live etc…. what would you do?

I need to think about this because my initial reaction would be that I would'nt be able to get the image of that person in a coma out of my head and would have to say something

Something else to bare in mind... your meet didn't put the witness in a coma, their co-robber did.... you don't know who they are and the police won't be picking them up if you call them about your meet.
However, your meet could tell their partner in crime about you. |

It wasnt me... It was someone who looks a bit like me (from a photofit and CCTV) and even when the police arrest the other person... He is innocent until proven guilty.
Thanks for bringing me to the attention of the police, possibly having me arrested for something I had on connection with, which in turn could cost me my job and social standing...

If one of us was arrested, even if the charges were eventually unproven, some companies would find a (cant think of the word) clause and we could lose our job...

It was a red chopper. The robbers left my brother's one cos it was purple. Red choppers were much faster. Fookin hated my dad that year. He left them outside cos the shed was needed to put his car seats in while he did whatever he was doing to the car (why would someone take the car seats out???). Dick. |
