Chest, sack and crack

As the new year approaches, and I inevitably adopt shedding pounds as one of my resolutions, I'm thinking that once I reach my target, would a trimming or waxing my chest look good..?

Presently I shave my pubic hair, but am considering waxing my bum cheeks and crack .... Is visiting a salon a requirement or can waxing be done as effectively at home by a partner...?

I get everything waxed down below at least once every month. Costs me about £40 a time from the local salon with a male waxing specialist.

I've been doing it for about three months now and so far the gf and I are enjoying the results.

I really wouldn't consider getting a non-pro to do it as the first time was with someone who wasn't quite a pro and it was patchy and there was a little bit of burning (not too serious thank fuck).

Anyways, not sure it's worth 40 quid a month but as the hair seems to be getting finer down there and the smoothness is unbeatable, I'll keep on for a little while.

On balance, I'd recommend it, but only from a pro

Hope that helps

I'd never wax my rug lol but I've had my back done a good few times - I would DEFINITELY not let anyone who's not properly trained near my sack or crack with hot wax

Yup... I think I'm going to try it at some point this year...

How's the pain and how hairy should I be prior to the visit..?

I tend to at least be trimmed unless I'm going to a club or have a meet organised in which case there's a grooming and showering ritual that lasts hours...!

I didn't really find the pain to be much of an issue, tbh. Surprisingly, my crack didn't hurt at all (thought that was going to be the worst). Even the base of the shaft and gooch wasn't much of a thing.

It does sting, however, on your main pubey bit on your pubic bone. For me, that required some gritted teeth haha.

I didn't have my chest or back done as they're just not hairy so can't advise on that I'm afraid.

As for how long the hair should be, I've heard different things ranging from as long as possible to a grain of rice length at the very least. Apparently I'm always the right length as she's never indicated it was a problem. (Giggedy)

I know there's an issue if the hair is too short though so best to let it grown out a little before going.

Your best bet is to find a salon or a waxer and give them a call.

Google maps advises against making such a lengthy journey...but, I hadn't considered that there may be experts on fab...! X

Given that you are fairly hairy "the nethers" will look better just trimmed. Bald will look odd, in my opinion.

I like men to keep their body hair pretty natural

I agree with the ladies above. Hairy chests are manly. I prefer men to be men.

Paul trims down below and leaves his chest rug alone, unless it's particularly bushy
