Is it just us that feel webcam verifications are worthless ? Surely it's not swinging it's merely watching people have fun so how can you verify as real swingers when it's all virtual ? |

I think they're handy. At least you're verified as the genuine person who made the profile.
I don't even swing, had loads of meet veris on my last profile, got a fair few on this one also.
If someone only has cam veris then they probably don't meet but this site has cam functions and people liking using those too. |

Does it matter? Some people prefer to keep it on cam?
Personally i hate the elitism of the term 'real swingers' on here. Most of us arent real swingers, were just here for fun.
Everyone finds there fun in different ways x |

I would love to know what a definition of a 'real swinger' is, to me its what each if us makes it or wants it to be.
If people are here just to cam then they can be, just like I know people on here just to knatter who aren't meeting. This site can be what each user wants it to be...'real swinger' or not. |

Not sure if I'm a real swinger? I enjoy clubs, parties, meeting (and sometimes fucking) other like minded people. To me that fits my definition.
I had over 200 meet verifications on my previous profile (that was over a 4 year period btw).
I still had one or two saying I wasnt a "real" swinger?...so I haven't a clue what is! |

Fake single males doesn't appear to be a problem on fab. However, many complain about fake female and couple profiles.
In all cases a photo veri, webcam veri and meet veri is not a guarantee that a person will not mess you around and will turn up for a meet. They are all just tools we can use, along with our own common sense and intuition, to decide if we're willing to take a chance and meet that person. |

I thought verifications where just to show you are who you say you are... Just because someone turned up for one person doesn't make that a guarantee they will not mess you around.. And every persons meet with someone is different.. Surely? X |

It's only a way of showing that the person is actually real, and alive. And at least similar to what they say they are .
It's no more or less than that.
Which some people find useful as one of the tools . And useful for newbies as a step on the ladder
Like anything, it can be faked, abused. But nothing is foolproof . Take it for what it is.

Wow that sure had a reaction ! All very positive and looking from both sides plus I guess I didn't define "real swinging" very well when what we meant was actually having physical contact with others and not reality. Love an open discussion so thanks for all the comeback. |
