bmth /poole sometimes blandford

are the white fittings ok to re use ?

it seems to be holding but i worried it might come apart

I wouldn't reuse any push fit parts. They're cheap to replace.

it never came apart i just had to alter something and reused the original elbow.but it slid on without any resistance ...held for a few days but i keep wondering if its ok .are they designed to be used just once .

By white, I take it you mean jg speedfit?.

Yeah there meant for reuse if so, they have the twist lock collar to hold in place.

The only thing you have to make sure of is

1 no sharp edges on pipe to cut the o ring on well slipping it on and off

2 make sure you use a liner when using with plastic pipe

i was in a house where they had not fitted pipe liners, some tend to hold for a long time, some not, also mark with felt tip on pipe fitting depth to make sure the grab holds

In which case it is probably OK. As long as it wasn't damaged when you took it apart .

Did a whole kitchen with these. Not a DIY expert. Did have a few leaking incidents. Now and again. Don't think they are the choice of professional plumbers.

pushed the ring and tapped it off
