Christmas this year was absolutely shit this year, spoiled once again by my ex.

Can you cheer me up with tales of how your Christmas was the best Christmas ever

Chams or Socials

I can't say it was my best ever - they were 2000 & 2005 when I found out I was pregnant - but it was my best since I became single!! I even managed to wish the ex a Merry Christmas

I'm at work. I've only had to deal with 1 self harmer this year. 1 too many, but 1 less than last year.

Sorry you've had a shit Christmas. Hope the New year brings you happiness.

Christmas with kids is fantastic, nothing like the sheer excitement and anticipation of kids at Christmas.

The best ever Christmas since 2012! Even if I was on my own.

I had shitty, miserable Christmas every Christmas day since 2012 when I got married.

I finally had the courage to walk away this year but heck; a lonely, independent Christmas is far happier than shitty, miserable one.

And things are looking up; I've got possible meets lined up and am free to chat on this forum without looking over my shoulder.

Wormed all day, with super people. Finished earlier than expected and now going to my parents to hoove up left over

Guilt (almost) free eating and lots of pennies, couldn't be better.

Hope you find something to make up for your rubbish day *hugs*

Mine's been fine. Knew I was spending it alone. Binned the idea of running as the weather was shit so just been lazy other than cooking a roast for one which I had with Dr Who. Girlfriend popped round unexpectedly this morning which was a nice surprise. As others have said elsewhere being alone at Christmas doesn't equate to being lonely and I;ve enjoyed the solitude

This was the first Christmas where my twins were old enough to understand the magic of it so it's been truely wonderful

Although I'm now looking at the aftermath wondering where to start on the clean up and where to store things

Sorry you had a shit day but it's just a day out of 365 and we make what we can of each and everyday..life is too short to get upset over a bad day.

Sending you a big hug if it helps x Red

One good thing came out of it, she confronted me about being on another site, to witch I answered "yes, I'm on that one, but this one is better, and the forums on this one are better than the other two"

She then had to lie to escape the question "how long have you been on a hook up site then?" By saying her dad saw me on there, it's funny how quickly people tell the truth when your about to phone her step mom

It's just the fact that she came in shouting her mouth off in front of our son that bothers me, she ruined his Christmas, it's a shame really, she just has to learn that my private life is none of her concern, and hers is none of mine

No it's the pain of sharp boxes and inadequate bin bags that I hate, that's why I buy cheap rubble sacks

Does anyone want to jab my mum's husband in the eye for me? All he's done for the past two days is fucking moan about how much his knee hurts, he's CONSTANTLY tapping his foot or humming under his breath or making fucking dumbass comments and started a pathetic little argument over breakfast this morning.

Then again, I'm glad he's in pain. No one deserves that more than he does.

My stuck up cow of a sister threw a diva hissy fit and declared that I wasn't welcome at her house. Result. I'm back at my Dad's (aka number one hero) working our way through his wine cellar.

Sorry so many have ha a rough day.

Too much is made of 'the' day.

Mine spent with my husband, stepsons and their families. We are not the perfect family (show me one that is) but this year we made it through without too many spats.

Highlight was skyping my daughter in Oz. Chatting with my grandchildren an sharing a little of their Xmas.

Hope the rest of the festive season goes better for those who had a rotten day.
