Is anyone on here not really feeling festive today?
I've struggled to feel excited about Christmas the whole of December and now after about an hour of feeling slightly festive I'm just back in the slump.
I don't know if it's because of the damp and not at all cold weather or something else.
But is anyone else on here just not feeling this whole festive spirit. |

Me neither.
Dropped the OH off.
Now on sofa with pooch
REALLY don't fancy going up to see the olds
REALLY can't be arsed with it all
Duty will take me rather than desire. |

"I'm not. Just pretending to be for the guys I work with. If I make their day easier, I've succeeded."
I am sure you'll succeed. Keep trying, who knows you might at least be able to have a giggle today. |

I completely understand, I live at home with my parents and tbh I wish we weren't having extended family round for lunch. I've not had a good year whilst others have and I don't want to be the wet towel, but it's hard not to be. |

"Not really feeling so much of it either. Lunch later on, but no one is up yet. "
I'm sure you'll enjoy it, at least Christmas lunch is always nice. x |

Me neither it's like you said, the unseasonal weather!
It's the new year I'm looking forward to! Especially if 2015 was a bit crap for you, the promise that 2016 could be more fun! |

Absolutely, but I think being ill for nearly a week plays it part in it
Can have fun when I feel better |

Yeah heavy rain on Christmas ay just isn't fun. If it's going to be mild, atleast be dry.
Yeah I am really hoping 2016 gives me a turn around in my fortunes. |

It took me ages to get onto the Christmas spirit this year. Lots of my friends said the same thing but I've had a lovely day.
I was actually chatting Father Christmas the other say and suggested that perhaps we should just 'do' Christmas every other year. He said he would prefer it it if was like a leap year. That's coming from the main man.....I kid you not!!!! |

"Fuck Christmas I hate it, but it's over in 40 minutes! Then it's the best day of the year, the day that is as far away from the next Christmas as it's possible to be!"
Even better it's a leap year hoooooooray |

Always feel like I'm just going through the motions with Christmas.
I've never seen what all the fuss is about, even as a kid. Luckily Mr Kinky feels the same, so for the second year we've had the day to ourselves - and loved it!
Spent the day either in bed or watching crap telly in our jimjams, cooked fab dinner which we did actually dress up for - black tie DJ and evening dress, then jimjams back on. Perfect.
Got family stuff for the rest of the weekend but at least we did what we wanted today. |
