i thought the whole idea of verifying someone was that they verify you back even if it's to say crap shag but hey they are genuine ..would it bother me if they didn't verify back yes it would.. but would they dare not verify back seeing as i know where they live  |

For me, the thought of taking into account the opinions of total strangers when deciding to meet another total stranger for nsa sex is totally ludicrous.
I meet based on profile and message to me. Just because someone leaves a glowing reference, doesn't mean you'll have the same experience.
I seldom leave any, and the only one I show, when profile visible is from the organiser of a club meet I attended with my other half and she mentions him. |

Op, you got enough anyway, I seem to have unintentionally become a verification whore, but no it wouldn't bother me, I don't ask, its nice to see the new verification icon and see what they said though.
The only time I could see it being frustrating if someone is wanting a first verification

I think the verification is a courtesy and while it is not really a big deal to most it may be to others,what if the person not receiving a veri back is unverified and then loses out on other meets because people will not meet unverified? |

. I don't bother with verifications ás they tend to be meaningless and always say the same thing .
What I look for is a detailed well written profile profile with good pictures . Hopefully I am capable of making my own assessment without having to rely on comments left by other members |

In an ideal world yes,but, what happens if you yourself had no verifications and you find a well put together articulate profile and you know it would be a perfect match so you press send message only to receive the yellow sash of doom??? user does not take mail from unverified? |
