What do you suspect may be amongst your gifts that you don't want? Will you use any level of dishonesty, when thanking the gifter?

I got a red plastic plate, just one, and a metal thing you put hot pans on from my dad and step-mum this year...I smiled, thanked them, and they have been put in the back of the useless objects cupboard already

I'm away from home so not expecting much, so won't need to feign great joy. I'm happy that someone goes to the trouble to get something for me. But I'm sure my face has given away my real thoughts on a few occasions.

I don't get presents as my brother and his wife are so mean minded, they always miss out sending any, yet whinge if the ones I send them aren't with them in time for Xmas!

So, I don't get my hopes up of any presents to open on Xmas Day; it's been this way for years!

Such is life!

I'm going to sound a right dick here...... I get a instant depressed feeling when I see or hear someone I know receiving a present they dont like and make it reasonably clear to the person that's brought it...ungrateful doesn't come close.

I'm not ungrateful they gave me gifts, just amused at how useless they really are....
