I normally love it! Got an eye infection though. Hospital writing rooms yesterday and same again today! Drops ever hour - then stingy cream - and so many painkillers I feel sick!
Just hoping I can see well enough to watch the kids open their presents and cook Christmas dinner tomorrow!

I would drink to that if I was not prepping food for 12 and spending 5 hours tomorrow driving to fetch people so I can cook for and feed them, then drive them home. roll on Saturday |

Have to say I'm feeling particularly unchristmassy this year. Lots of shit going on and we found out today my nan will be staying in the cardiac unit over Christmas as she is too poorly to come out despite having 5 stents put in last week |

I hate it this year after having the worst Christmas Eve ever. A teenage girl stepped backwards out into the road in front of me today and I had no chance. I can't get past hitting someone even though the police were very very clear it was her at fault |

Thankfully she stood up straight away and was apologising to me but she had a few grazes. The police told it was minor and she was just bruised with a minor cut to the head that might need glueing but he'd ring me last night if there was any change and I've not heard from him. I just hope she wasn't attempting anything as I just don't understand how anyone steps backwards into a road it just doesn't make sense. Horrible for you and your daughter. You'll feel bad it's natural but the girl isn't your responsibility and whatever caused her to step back isn't either...it was probably just down to her not thinking about what she was doing.
I hope the memory will fade. |

same - its a few days to get through for me - it used to be a time when all the family got together but but since divorce its a messy few days of fitting in and trying to please everybody - its not all bad but nothing like it used to be |

Love Christmas, partner hates it. Second year in row we had bust up and he left me alone.
Won't be a third...let's just say he's already planning my Christmas for next year! Didn't even have to use wasabi and Goliath!  |

No bust ups for me this year. Being single isn't too bad when you've got a good family and an amazing daughter to spend Christmas with. You get out what you put into it, make an effort and that. The only thing I don't like about Christmas is the amount of food that gets stuffed into my gob. I have no self control.
Hope the ones who are having a rubbish Christmas are ok. May everyone have ano awesome 2016. X |
