I instinctively go for the left side when having a hug but when kissing I automatically turn my head to the right as that feel more natural. I write left handed and depending on what I am doing, am either right or left handed so that probably explains why. |

I 'head left' when I hug. Just feels natural. Most people I hug seem to do the same, ie we'll both go our respective left. I can't remember any embarrassing hug direction faux pas in the past where I've headed to my left and they've headed to their right and we've ended up knocking each other out  |
