I taught myself to crochet 2 years ago and got really good at it!

However I fancy a change and decided yesterday to teach myself to knit as well.

It's going ok so far!!

Anyone else 'crafty' amongst you fabbers??

When I was pregnant I sat for hrs with a normal child's colouring book. It relaxed me so much

I do all sorts of stuff. None of it particularly well as I'm not very creative. I can copy stuff but that's easy.

I was given an adult colouring book last week...must say I was kind of disappointed by the lack of women's boobs and bums to colour in...

i work on a dementia and emi unit and we have the adult colouring in books - one lady in particular will sit for hours with feltpens and a book or two - brilliant for her to zone out

Pity I can't put pics on of all the things I've knitted

Enjoy it, its so therapeutic.

My mum taught me age 12, and I've knitted ever since, from baby items to cuddly toys. Xmas jumpers, poppies, blankets. Its easy once you can read a pattern,

Well done you, keep at it

So do I

My mum recently said that she's never seen me sit down to one thing for so long. Relaxs me and helps with my anxiety too.
