That's true, and indeed the sunsets have been getting later since last week

And while the sunrises will continue to get later for a few more days yet, it's only from today that that the later sunrises are more than offset by the later sunsets so the net effect is more daylight hours

It's funny it's something I've never got my head around, days get longer from December yet I always think of January and February as the long dark days

I always think that its because in November and December there are lights and music and parties. Jan and Feb are joyless and devoid of soul

January is the best month Ever for me because that is when my daughter was born!
