We had that about two years ago. We did use Norton antivirus but once computer fixed swapped to AVG and no problems since

Its free, it works so makes sence. That or avira but its choices.

We use it all the time, never had any problems. It does an auto scan every night and never had a virus or any problems. Doesn't even slow th PC down

Spybot Search and Destroy is also good for getting shot of spyware and the likes, and free ..

Akso used Kaspersky - that was good as well
