"no interest whatever in sex or sexual activity of any sorts"
It's not just sex .....it's writers block ..... musicians drying up ... being jaded or just a loss of energy .... it can be a runner who finds they no longer have the heart to run ..... it's like a reason for being suddenly going whoosh ...... |

All of the above, apart from Grannys esoteric last sentence...
...though if a small child, or indeed many members of Fab, tell you they have 'lost their Mojo' it could well be the mis-placing of Mojo Chews, which come in a mixture of flavours e.g; strawberry, orange, cola and banana.

The origin lies in a little stone or amulet that people believed brought them the ability to do things....so if they lost their 'Jo' they couldn't function anymore.
Nowadays 'mojo' is used to mean what makes you tick ..... an innate quality that makes you you ...... |

Alternatively, if a non-league football team had signed 80's sectarian crossing footballer, hearthrob and general arsehole 'Celtic is the only club i've ever wanted to play for' Maurice 'Mojo' Johnstone and he went missing, they may well use the phrase as well.
As with so many things, context makes a big difference.

""it's like a reason for being suddenly going whoosh ......"
It's rare for me to be grammatically disappointed in you.
But today is such an occassion. "
It was grammatically perfect.
Vocabularywise it left a little to be desired if I was after a prize.
You KNEW what it meant. |

Apparently said "WhoOoOosh" is an invigorating citrus shower gel ( available from all good department stores)....mayhaps if yer a little minging and find yer `ave no aforementioned "Whoosh" and find yer reduced to chasing the soap fer half an hour...yer could lose a little of yer ubiquitous mojo? |

Thank you for your posts .
The term makes a bit more sense , I did at first think it had got something to do with the mojo chews lol
In a grown up world it would have to have a different meaning |
