Omfg!!! Where's the chrimbo spirit everyone? We all go through rough times and need a break every now and then!!! I have!! I've also tried to join in with posting on the forums, and you know what? Ive found them to be very cliquey. It's very off putting as a newbie. I've not given up though. I'm plodding on!!!

PS just want to add if I ever decide to leave a card signed by you all and some flowers would be gratefully appreciated and I would of course organise a leaving party will be organised to which you will all be invited.

I couldn't leave without saying goodbye - long speeches will be banned and there will of course be a free bar to ensure a decent turn out.

I think I've been wandering around in a daze, there have been some really lovely threads this week, I must have not seen the bitchy nasty ones. I don't understand why, just because you're behind a screen, the tail of if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all doesn't apply? I liked Miss Innocent and I will miss her contribution. I hope she finds the space she needs and comes back refreshed.

I have witnessed the rise and fall of numerous Forum 'Personalities' over the years.

Some come back for good, others yo-yo, others never re-appear.

Disappearances are not always down to attitudes of others but ,sometimes, if you have got stuff going on elsewhere, or if Fab is getting in the way of real life, they can be a catalyst for change.

For some, Fab is addictive, the Forums more so. It becomes part of your routine and can consume you before you have realised it.

In this situation, some hide their profile and disappear for a while whereas others have to go the full cold turkey.

So, whilst losing a regular poster is always a shock, I won't be wearing my black veil nor pointing fingers.

Hopefully the lady in question will return rejuvenated, refreshed and relaxed but if not, I'm sure we all wish her well x

I'm not on the forums as much as I used to be, and not always aware of others, but I did notice a dramatic change in her. As I said, she seemed unhappy to me.

I am shocked and surprised both at Miss Innocent leaving but also some of the comments left on this thread.

I do hope she is ok and I for one will miss the banter.

Met up with her last weekend we had a social a very lovely lady.

That's the helpful sort of comments that make the forum such a crass place at times. Some people just haven't a clue....if your head wasnt so far up your arse it could be slapped. Often shake my head when reading so many of the bitch comments on here. Unfortunately it's the wrong ones that so often leave....its support that people need not kicking.

She was a great girl and one of the few genuinely nice ones in my circle. Many will miss her.

She always seemed like an unhappy person putting on a front that often slipped to me. She used to always put herself down which is always painful to watch on here.

Yes indeed, I hope Christmas brings her some comfort - fabs is a two edged sword, whilst it may be fascinating and even addictive, it will put pressure on whatever wounding we have and the cracks may start to appear.

If it was the best body thread that broke the camels back, she made some good points. Larger ladies threads always go tits up because of the nasty comments, but, I have also seen threads about slimmer women goes tits up too with the larger ladies spoiling them

To be honest - until we all learn to put our point of _iew across without getting bitchy and personal I'd love to see body type threads killed at birth! Lately they're the ones that have caused all the unpleasantness! Very sad!!

At the end of the day someone will always put their _iew across and sometimes it will be innocent and be worded wrong or some other person will be spiteful and nasty with jealousy. How we deal with it is our issue and I personally just move on. Never got to speak with Mrs I but have seen her on the forums and always came across as popular. No doubt she'll be back when she's ready. I

Perhaps it's only recently that I've become so conscious of it then!

From now on - for every negative thread/post I'm going to produce a positive slightly loopy one! The world inside my head is so barmy that they'll get a headache and stop being mean to each other! This will be my life's work! Do you think you can get an MBE for services to swinging?

Agreed, I find that too. I am interested in people's opinions as they often have a different perspective and something I can learn from or at leapt consider. But people take things very personally. I think if you are secure and happy, then you won't let anything on here damage you .... you see people for what they are when they posts inane comments and learn from those you can learn from. Its a computer screen and unlikely I will ever meet most of the people who post, its a small part of my life ... and so it stays there and it is what it is.

it was one of the threads about weight that got to her they tend to get heated and she got drawn in ,she's over weight and she gets uptight about it but you should just try and enjoy what you've got ,people like you for who you are mostly and no-one is ever like a text message in reality

To balance things out, she was rude to me several times on my old profile regarding my weight. And she was rude to others too, that "stick insects" post was just one example. The majority of the time, she was the confrontational person when it comes to weight issues.

Leaving will probably be the best thing for her, I only log on here couple times a week these days and when I check the forums its usually the same faces no matter what day or time it is.

I think lots of people are a little bit to addicted to fab and from what I read in some threads and statuses this place don't necessarily bring out the best in people, infact quite the opposite.

Just my opinion though I'm sure many won't agree with it.
