That Christmas Present everyone else had but you didn't

With Chrimbo just around the corner (no, really!?  ) was there ever a present or toy that you always wanted as a kiddie (or indeed an adult) that everyone else seemed to have (and that you wanted) but you never had yourself?
For me it was the Evel Knievel Stunt Bike - you know the one where you hand to frantically wind up the handle on the side of a big red docking station before releasing the bike in all its glory?
Oh and I always wanted a Mr Frosty ice slush maker too, another childhood dream never fulfilled!
What were the toys you never got?

I know back in the day there where loads, the latest electronic games, computers etc because we were a large family and money was tight. But I cant really name any now my memory isnt good enough. |

I'm even over the fact that my mum gave away all my Transformers to a charity shop 'cos she thought I didn't play with them.
I'm even over the (extensive) Lego castle I sunk 10 years of pocket money in to that my parents carelessly left in the shed and was ruined by rats and chicken shit.
It's just stuff. |

My son got the Thundercats sword,it was his cheapest present that year and he played with it the most out of all his presents. |

I honestly can't remember if my friends got stuff I wanted but didn't have. I do know that Christmas 1966 was the year of the blue anorak with tartan lining and blue ski pants gift, I thought my life would never get better than that |
