Why do I do it? Every year I watch love actually and end up bawling my bloody eyes out. You'd think I'd learn by now.....

I think the Emma Thompson / Alan Rickman storyline is very sad

I took Mum to see it when it first came out at the cinema.

In the car home, I said 'don't you think that bit was sad ?'

Her response was 'Yes, but she was way too cool. If it was me, I'd have hit him with that CD whilst saying where's that bleedin' necklace ?'

"I think the Emma Thompson / Alan Rickman storyline is very sad"

Around that time I found a Monsoon carrier bag at home. That Christmas I got nothing from Monsoon. I wondered who had but thought no more of it. There were worse things he did I had to deal with.

Only years later did I discover Monsoon and Accessorize were the same company. And I had had a gift from the latter

The bit where she just listens to the song has a bit of a moment then dusts herself down and sorts out the kids.

It gets me every time!

I cry in loads of films even terminator 2, even Drive which is quite violent! I'm soppy!

I cry when the wife opens her Joni Mitchell CD and realises the necklace was given to someone else.

There's lots more that happens in it so you can still watch and enjoy it
