the force awakens shall hopefully deliver as all the other films did, fair enough the originals are classic and deliver but I liked the prequels too...

can't wait to get a good enough copy off the force awakens to download which isn't filmed from the back off a cinema..

Definitely a hit, Abrams has gone old skool with the production (actually building miniatures and sets) unlike Lucas who embraced the digital age of CGI and totally fucked it up.

it'll probably be a massive hit considering the size of the original films' cult following - & a whole new generation of SW geeks too!

personally, I find drying paint more interesting to look at - but each to there own!

I've just seen trailers for the new Independence Day and Star Trek. I'm going to have a triple film night when they all come out on DVD

I don't get that, wouldn't you're head hurt after watching two films in one day alone? 3 would probably make my brain sore tbh...

also best place to watch a film is either when you're in bed tucked away or lying on a comfy sofa and have some snacks..

I have a feeling it'll return more to the roots of the original films than the prequels based on the trailers. Looks awesome can't wait and going the full 3D X-Plus screen and Dolby Atmos sound experience.

The audience at the premiere seemed to greet it positively. They were not permitted to reveal plot details so reviews won't surface until tomorrow's public showing.

I'm very fortunate in that in 1977 I saw the hype, went the first day it came out, these modern trendies can kiss my arse..I saw it first and the rest doesn't compare to the original having never seen anything like it before

Likewise, not the very first day but the first weekend I think - I was a little lad of 5 back then but remember the excitement AND buying Star Wars weekly number 1 with a free model of a tie-fighter included with it

Just come back from an IMAX 3D showing and was truly worth it to see it that way, no unnecessary 3D shots.

Brilliant loved it, back to form. Thought they would have done away with Jar Jar though

We've seen it today, having never watched a Star Wars film in my life I've now watched 7 in the last two weeks and I really enjoyed it. He's seen them all numerous times and has about 100 figures worth a small fortune from his childhood so I took one for the team and started to watch them - I enjoyed it thoroughly

If I had the force I would remove jar jar binks from existence,he totally ruined the movies for me! And why oh why did they put added cgi bits in the originals? That scene where Han has a talk with Jabba the Hutt in episode 4 is awful it makes me cringe!
