A woman near Great Yarmouth paid for her £1,164.39 shopping using just coupons, and donated the whole lot to charity. She said the receipt is about a mile long.

Oh my god back in 2005 my then boyfriends Nan won a lifetimes supply of warburton bread! What it actually meant was she had 300 coupons for warburton bread. Anyway as it was Xmas my ex and I were in tesco and he picked up a couple of warburtons products a fruit loaf here, some brown bread and white. Gets to the till and the boy who was serving just had a Xmas jumper on, no tesco uniform so he must've been Xmas staff as he was a bit clueless on the till, totals it up then I give him the 3 vouchers which he scans and each time he did £1 came off the total, sooo what do I do? Give him another 29 vouchers as that's what was left of the shopping bill, then go back round tesco picking up bottles of whiskey, a juicer, books, gift sets, razor blades, basically git Xmas presents for both myself and my ex's whole family. Went to seek out the boy that had served us moments ago, slapped another loaf of warburtons bread in the trolley and he put everything through came to 280 odd quid and I handed him all the vouchers to scan, by this point my ex had walked away from me cos he was dying but the boy scanned all the vouchers and I ended up having to pay about 9 quid! Result, plus as I was pushing the trolley across the car park I realised that I'd actually stolen 2 pairs of pyjamas that were hanging on the trolley hook (I didn't know they were there but then I didn't take them back either!) |

Most English vouchers state 'can not be used in conjunction with other offers" and/or monetary value is like 0.001. So it wouldn't work here like it does in the states

There's a website called HUKD, and some people work out that if you use this code with that code and this other code, you can get 99% off. Lol |

I always end up behind that person using loads of coupons to get money off, 50 extra clubcard points etc. Glad I wasn't behind that lady, even though what she done was amazing. |

Not so much extreme couponing, but I had enough Clubcard points a year a go to buy one of their Hudl2 tablets (with their double points offer) and only pay £30 for it. So I took the offer,cashed in the clubcard points and ordered it on-line. Picked it up in the store and a couple of days later Tesco emailed me to say that it was ready collect (after I collected it). Went back to the store, told them Id picked it up. Still got another email the following day. Anyway, after a week, I recieived a full refund on the Clubcard vouchers and my £30 back as I hadn't collected it (except I had) and apparently the Tesco system wouldn't accept that Id picked it up.
So I took the double clubcard points (nearly £100 worth plus the £30 I got back) bought a trolley full of essential everyday brand foods and took the lot to the food-bank. Figured if Tesco couldn't sort out their on-line ordering system at least people could benefit.

I am not shy to use my Nectar coupons at the tills, At Christmas time I traded all of my points in and got a wii switch for £70.
I also use cashback site Quidco, I've made over £600 back since joining in 2016
