Happened to me!

Was in a hotel in Manchester with a fem friend after Amour - she let two random guys in the room - I went to the loo as I just wasn't interested - ten mins later (after She'D gone to their room with them) I noticed 20 quid was missing from my bedside table! Not impressed but no way I could have proved it!!

i met a guy and we got a hotel, after we had played i went in the shower, while i was in there he went theough my bag and took everything of value and left, didnt even leave me enough money to get home or my phone so i could call somebody to help me, i had to walk home took me nearly 3 hours

there isn't really a great deal you can do

I never leave money or anything valuable on display, or leave a guy unsupervised in my hotel room - including repeat meets. But also I choose carefully so guys I meet are incredibly unlikely to be the type to swipe anything

They would have investigated it by contacting Admin of the site you used to ask for any details they have.

You maybe surprised what they can do if you wanted to report it, i can understand if you didn't want to take it any further as that's your choice, but it could have been a lot worse! if he could go so low I dread to think what else he could have done.

very hard to prove unless you had cameras, but this thread is a warning to all, i had a private house party and someone claimed they had 200 quid nicked, the lady who was hosting the party offered to pay, she gave me a cheque to give him, i had arranged to meet the man concerned sat night in gay village, he didnt turn up, or contact strange didnt turn up, so she ripped the cheque up, best if you meets at home hide all cash and things that can be easily nicked

Why would anyone leave unattended valuables, lying around in room with only strangers there.

You would call them stupid, if they did the same thing in a bar or night club.

As long as you've had a face pic first then you have some evidence to submit to the police.

I don't take much of any value with me when meeting and you can always use a cheap phone too.

Hide valuables in rooms used for meets and don't leave the meets out of your sight.

Swallow the door key too, so that they can't just walk out.

I like bodyguards too, especially if they join in the fun.

agree they know before they go what the fee is, trouble is at parties or meets you take people at face value, good idea to take minimum amount or put 20 in shoe or coat lining, when i had a party and the man said he had 200 nicked as he just drew from atm, i ask myself did he need it as it was bring your booze,i couldnt think of anyone there who would nick money
