Does anyone else find that some people go to elaborate lengths to pretend they're up for a meet? Texting until the last minute etc, and then simply failing to materialise? Pretty pathetic way to get a buzz. My only consolation is that my metaphorical balls are much bigger than theirs. |

it's just the risk one has to take when dealing with people on here i'm afraid, most are up for meets etc but some are not and like to play games. |

We could all have meets that don't happen or the wrong person for us to turn up - it's part of casual fun world and because we will likely meet more people than other types who Settle down', we have the risk factor multiplied by the volume of people, meaning it's likely to happen sometime or other.
Work out your part in the process. |

Part of using the internet, it enables people to pretend they are something they are not.
I've been quite lucky and only had one meet not turn up. I don't have any particular process, it's just luck really. |
