I'm a newbie granted, but it amazes me I see loads of status's saying 'horny tonight anyone want some fun' and 'meet me at so and so' etc. Surely this does not work. I think it's a terrible thing to do personally. |

We have done this plenty of times , and loved it .

I spose its both ways (or should that be bi) that some people it works for, and they like it. Fairplay to them. I prefer having a little bit of a chase I spose and I do think it's just manners to speak to people and semi get to know them a little bit. Rather than shooting your load over someone then asking "by the way what's your name"?

Some people put a status up like that just to see if any of there friends(people they have met before) are interested in meeting, It saves sending a load of messages and potentially upsetting someone if the one they do meet was their 3rd choice |

When I did meet, most of my meets were not planned. An ever changing business diary meant I could not guarantee being somewhere at any given time.
If I posted a 'meet today' for later that day and then felt like a quiet night in after the day turned crap (which they invariably did... then I would appear a timewaster.
So, for me, that type of meet very much worked  |

Everyone has there own way of doing things and none of them are wrong , we will only go to clubs and if a single guy or couple want to play then we may never know their names or sometimes even speak , just get it on

I'm sure some do.
I get some people who load the pressure on for an instant meet - after I've told them I'm at work etc. Dumb and it deters me.
It amazes me what some think could work. They think I'm as hard up as them?
And there are some who must drive around until they're half a mile or so away from you, then message that they are on the door step so must meet. FO, creepy slime ball. |

I see it a lot in local updates. In the past a few times we have had some last minute time so we've popped up a status asking for a couple of guys. A few messages back and forth, face pics swapped and a place and time arranged. It worked out quite well, but not something we've done for a long time |

I've only once replied to a 'fancy a fuck now' message, and only because I'd just been let down, I'd spent ages getting ready, and he was hot...got to say it was an awesome spontaneous meet! |

I did once on a Saturday night. A couple messaged me asking if I met and within 5 messages I was at theirs and it was a bloody good night tbh no drama just honest to goodness fun. |

. Referring to members as idiots is hardly an admirable tract . With last minute meets there will be less chance of a last minute cancellation and it also suits each persons needs . If a profile is well written and informative , it only takes a few minutes to make your decision.

So is it only guys that send these messages? I was under the impression that women are free to do this too - granted its probably mostly men but to state that its only men is, I believe, is incorrect.
If I got this kind of message from a woman and I was free, and I fancied her, yes of course I would! Infact I'd take it as a compliment. |
