What grinds my gears is when I come downstairs first thing in the morning, or come home late in the evening, and I can instantly see several jobs that my housemate has started, but not finished. Once or twice is understandable as interruptions happen, but multiple times a week? He's coming up to 30 he should be able to finish tasks.

What grinds your gears?

"Coming down to cat sick on my rug "

Finding the sink looks like someone's been sick in it where the kids have rinsed their plate before it went into the dishwasher.

Or, not finding the sink full of 'sick', opening the dishwasher to find a pile of it sliding off the plate into the bottom of the machine
