Once again i am on a night shift! I started at 7pm all work was done by 9pm but i have to be on site until 7am. Fab keeps things interesting at times like this but i would like to know how else you would keep yourself entertained if you was in my position?

But coffee is so over powering. If i am round someones house and they are making hot drinks... they cannot use the same spoon to stir the my tea, after the have stired coffee with it!!

I work nights too. Usually download podcasts or TV programmes n watch them while doing my jobs. Drinking coffee n coming in here helps too. Would have been on sooner but tonight has been a typical textbook Saturday shift..

We have had to drink Kenco coffee or twinings tea. That was until last week when we clubbed together n got a tassimo. Seems to eat my money now n addicted to making all kinds of hot drinks now.. On a brighter side though, passes time quick..

As said before i dont touch coffee!

We have a hot drink machine here but i refuse to drink tea out the machine cant stand the UHT milk stuff. So i end up having hot chocolate or popping into costa (which is in the building) starting up their machine and making a proper hot choc or nicking some tea bags

Oooh, a night shift thread! It's kicking my arse at the moment (even though i've been doing it for 2 years now). Whenever I go to bed at the weekend my body refuses to sleep properly until 6-7am Was falling asleep at 6pm earlier, went to bed, woke up an hour later feeling mostly refreshed, was up and about another 3 hours... started falling asleep again. Slept an hour, couldn't get back to sleep, here we are again! No fun.

As for things to do on a night shift... Sadly I get the manager guy bursting in randomly to get me to sort something so I have to be quick with the mouse (or alt-tab), ha. I just listen to music and read certain car forums, because no way am I getting caught on fab, haha!

Ah damn I know 2 people who switch regularly from days to nights and I have no idea how they do it!

Similarly I'll hopefully be getting a new job soon (with working hours designed for normal sane people) and that's going to suck getting used to, knowing how much of a fight my brain is currently putting up at a vaguely different sleep schedule. Mehhhh!

I have done it myself i was ment to be off friday and saturday night but one of the guys who was ment to be in was off so i covered his shift to get some extra cash.

I dont think i would want to go back to the normal monday to friday crap.... cos if i didnt do any overtime i would only work half a year!

Usually when i do alot of overtime my body hates me and i end up with tonsillitus
