I have one a couple of inches on my forehead, vertical but half an inch is behind the hair line. I wear a heavy fringe so it's never on show, but that's a "fashion" choice as opposed to trying to hide it.
I'd be wary of meeting someone with something like a Chelsea smile, but other scars are okay. |

No big ones on my face, but some potty major ones over most of my body.
Think my right leg is the only place without any scars lol.
What kind of scar is it? Arch from broken nose? |

I've a wee scar under my nose on the left hand side. A kind memory from an abusive ex.
I've been told noone else really notices it but I am aware of it.
If anybody has an issue with it and it puts them off, then so be it. |

I've had a cyst on my face and that left a small scar, same thing on my pussy, and a black dot left over from another cyst (my diabetes was under poor control for a while).
Scars don't bother me at all. Met a guy on here had one on his face, quite big but not that noticeable really. |

Scars are interesting and a lot of people have them. I have a small one on my top lip from being bitten by a puppy when I was a child. I have some burn scars on my right hand from the oven and loads of stretch marks on my stomach |

Scars are who you are .Some are good memories or sad from what's happened .But they wouldn't bother me .I have a scar and nobody has ever noticed it .
I was about 8 and decided to try and jump the gate on a space hopper .Yep I didn't make it safely. |

I forgot I also have one under my right eyebrow/eye, fell and hit a table during a seizure. Cover that one with make up, although it's just a silvery line now. |

I have scars on my breasts which I'm really self conscious of
One in particular is noticeable in certain outfits. If people mention it is just tell them it's where I was shot because it looks like a bullet hole lol.
Scars even facial ones wouldn't put me off. If you can make me laugh I'm in. |

Thankyou so much for the replies I am a good person so I guess people should accept you for who you are. A scar doesn't define that. Was nice to hear peoples opinions on it thankyou |

"Anybody else have facial scars? To any woman who happen to read this. Would a scar on the nose put you off a guy?
Be nice to hear back thankyou"
I don't have any facial scars, but I do have scars on my body, and in my experience no one notices them, or if they do its no big deal.
A fuck buddy of several years noticed one one day and it shocked him...I was shocked that he was shocked! This particular scar i've had since I was 15 months old and we just laughed about the fact he'd never noticed it before.
I've had partners with scars and they're just part of life. |

It looks fine.
BTW there are treatments to reduce the visibility. I used Mederma on my eye one and it worked. Bio oil is good too. |

Wouldn't put me off at all. If I find a guy wholly attractive then a scar wouldn't put me off. I'm not even put off by a lost limb. Long as over all attraction is there then game on. |

Oh and I had a terrible keloid scar on my upper arm. My GP gave me some steroid cream to reduce it which worked well.

Ouch dude. What was it car accident or did someone bottle you?
Bio oil is very good friends have used it the key is to really roughly massage it in pinch and crush the scar you need to break down the fibres.
Hate to say it but where it is that's gonna hurt :p

I have a scar around my nipple from an operation this year. My areola is bigger than the other now too because it stays more relaxed. No one has been put off by either, and I forget it's there |

I had laser treatment on many of shrapnel scars and they're pretty much invisible now. It was expensive but worth every penny. |

I intruded on a stray jack Russell's space. The weather was really bad and I noticed a dog alone. I was on the bank and spotted it. It seemed friendly at first, was going to take it to a vet. It obviously got scared as i was carrying it, maybe through noise or something.the rest was history (ouch). I then had to jog a couple miles to get a lift to a&e and have a tetnus. Haven't a clue were the dog is now just hope its OK. I'm a dog lover was brought up on them and should know better. My heart took over |

How recent is it?
Scars tend to become thicker and redder when they're on parts of the body that regularly flex and move so on the nose it should start to flatten and whiten significantly after the first few years |

Yeah it should improve well with age.
It's got good blood supply and isn't in a highly mobile area of skin.
Good luck with the clinic |

Scars are such superficial things that it would not bother me at all. I may or may not notice them as I'll be appreciating someone overall. I've tiny scars here and there and most of my family seemed to get them as we actively played outside whilst growing up. |

I didn't think I had any but this thread prompted me to think about it and I'm covered in them, some quite large ones. It obviously bothers you OP and it won't be the scar that puts folk off, it will be how self-conscious about it you are.
I doubt very mush that there is not one person on here without some sort of scar. |

I've a huge 'fish bone' one on my left calf after a d*unken night out and falling out with an ex so fell asleep under the living room radiator
Ended up having 22 staples that stretched due to infection |

Had lots of facial scarring due to an accident as a child, but luckily most have faded over the years, only have two major ones now.
For years I disliked looking at people, it was years before I realised that the scars didn't matter, people either liked me, or not, because of who I was, not what I looked like.
Now, I don't notice, and most people don't notice the scars. |

yeah this happened in February on my birthday, I then over healed so had many dressings to try and dilute/reduce/dilate/ the over heal and come April even the Docs gave up and suggested to just cut it out.
Then got suspected gangrene so was monitored daily until it was safe to extract the staples....the scar is a good one I will admit the back story makes me sound like an arse lol |

Ouch (is there a word that conveys rhe sentiment better?), burns are an absolute bitch as they heal.
Did you keep full mobility or did it affect the movement of your foot? |

Full mobility! I think the most embarrassing thing was my dad was taking me shopping the next day, so I casually asked him to take a bandage with him...he took one look and said 'A&E for you....the doctor took one look and said 'good night was it?'
And I was just going to slap a plaster over it if I could have! So No that was a pretty shit birthday lol |

Then got suspected gangrene so was monitored daily until it was safe to extract the staples....the scar is a good one I will admit the back story makes me sound like an arse lol
So No that was a pretty shit birthday lol "
Well the mobility is great news and lucky for you your dad has some brains :p |

Nope some little war wounds and facial scars on a guy make them look even more handsome.
I've got a scar on my left eye and my nose is bumpy from it not being set properly after the last time I broke it. Have scars on every finger of my left hand as well, some from fighting, one from the bastard key on a corned beef tin. |

Damn how come you ended up with staples did they have to remove the burnt tissue?
Kinda curious to see it?

"Anybody else have facial scars? To any woman who happen to read this. Would a scar on the nose put you off a guy?
Be nice to hear back thankyou"
An ex partner of mine had a big scar across one cheek and his nose was crooked and had a scar up it. He was absolutely gorgeous though, it kind of added character.
Gutted I missed your face pic now.xx |

I think I have one or two small ones from being beaten up a few years ago, but difficult to say as it's been bearded of sorts for the last couple of years so difficult to tell. My nose on the other hand is a bit crooked and bent. Not quite as bad as Steve Bruces nose but again it's taken a pounding in my youth. |

Ya shouldn't worry about your scar. I've got a fair few scars in various places on my body, including my face. Some very big and some very small. But at the endof the day the scar doesn't define you, if anything it's a little story into ya past.

One of my exs had a very badly disfigured face, he had had over a 100 stitches in it, they where the old bumpy uneven scars as well not like the clean scars from stitches these days.
They where all on his left side and people where always staying, I just didn't notice them after awhile.

You are an atractive lad. Dont worry, the scar will fade, the cocnut oil will do its job and i shouldnt think you will need any more treatment. As THX said, massage the oil into the scar and this will stop it becoming adhered and keep it mobile so it moves with the rest of your skin. I have scars on my face and body and i love them all. They each show a story and a life lived, as does yours. Wear your scar with pride. It only happened a month ago so your brain has to get used to seeing it every time you look in the mirror, but it will come. xxx |

"I intruded on a stray jack Russell's space. My heart took over "

"I've got a 4 inch scar at the base of my throat, had thyroid cancer in my 20s, I rarely even think about it and no-one ever mentions it."
My sister in law had this and the scar is hidden in a neck wrinkle.
The fact that they could do that hurt her more than the cancer thing |

I have a facial scar too. I've been applying bio oil since it healed and the surgeon made an amazing job. It's barely noticeable now. It makes no odds to me what's on the outside, inside matters more. |

Don't worry about it mate - I have a laperotomy scar from my sternum to just above my cock and a colostomy bag - it's never put anyone off (to the point that I don't even think about mentioning it to meets anymore)... |
