I do like a little story at bedtime.

What would your Crackanory be about and who would be sitting in the chair telling the story?

How about a swinging meet, where everyone who turns up to the party is a nightmare. The last couple being the protagonist's parents.

I would like it read by someone with a Welsh accent. Ruth Madoc, perhaps.

would have to be along the lines of tales of the unexpected read by bernard cribbens. that would destroy any jackanory memory and be quite ironic.
