I find there are a lot of sycophants in the forums. Usually males posting to a single females post.
Although easy to spot, does it detract from the idea of honest discussion and from what can be a serious op? |

Both men and women do it. Some do it some don't.
Yes it can detract but hey ho.

it's better to balance it out really have normal debates and conversation or arguments on here with others or any other forum..
just compliment once in a while and all is good but if you're doing it all the time then it can be seen as sucking up or being a sycophant then to endlessly agree with some one.. |

I like who I like but it wouldn't stop me disagreeing with them and I don't gush sycophantic drivel.
Never any reason not to have enlightened discussion in the lounge. And just skip past any twaddle that you feel is brown nosing etc, unless you need to raise a smile. |
