Almost whole of bromley is evacuated and the shopping centre. I had to walk over the road, hundreds of police officers and fire engines, maibe it is a connection to north london? |

The suspension is automatic in these circumstances.
Your claim that he 'is facing charges over unlawful killing' seems about as accurate as your opening post that this was a terrorist incident. The IPCC have launched a criminal homicide investigation while that means the officer could face charges it;s a long waty off from that stage at present |

BikeMonkey didn't say police officers end up being charged! He is quite correct in what he says its normal procedure for the officer involved to be suspended while an investigation takes place.
I can't see the officer been charged when the dead man came out shooting which is what I have read. |
