I would say it's hypocritical at all, what appeals to men doesn't appeal to the majority of females. Most men like breast pics and body pics, some like pics of the vagina, but more men like those type of pics than a woman does.
In regard to those messages, I see them as a way for someone to initiate conversation. When I get them I just delete them, because of course I want a face pic. I'd send a face pic if I was to send a message. The same with the old "I've added you as a friend so you can see my pics" na attach one with message.
As for if a woman were to do that then they expect it to be accepted- I don't see it as a one way thing, but if it happens, then that's not the females fault, it's just as easy for the man to ignore. |

I suppose in my case, the point is they CAN see my face, and presumably like it enough to say hello. If I don't know what their face looks like, I'm never going to click. Even if they happen to have a beautiful body, I still need to see a face. I guess not all men or women apply the principle of not bothering to look at the mantelpiece when they're poking the fire. |
