They should be able to give you a figure over the phone, but obviously it does vary from day to day, couple of weeks should be more than enough to produce some paperwork with figures on it. That was certainly the case when i transferred my pension into a SIPP. hope that helps |

Much depends on how your pension is invested. If it's just insured funds this figure should be available over the phone. (Depending on who your pension provider is)
If it's self invested eg a SIPP or a SSAS then the scheme administrator or provider may have to request valuations of the assets. That can take longer. Especially if it's got any more esoteric investments.
