"I always say "do you know what I mean?" at the end of a statement. Marc wants to kill me sometimes
It's hard to break the habit, though.
-Courtney"
Yes, it's a pain, do you know what I mean? |

Haha I do the same thing!
My other bad habit is not making eye contact when I'm talking. I'm fine making eye contact while I'm listening, I'm very attentive, but when it's my turn to speak I always look away and it must look very shifty! I obviously struggle with multitasking |

'At the end of the day'
'Like' a thousand times in one sentence (my son tried this once, he hasn't since me and his father took the mickey out of him)
My mother when on the phone to her does chores as I try and talk to her, drives me nuts because she doesn't listen at the best of times
People butting in to your conversation!! |

I'm guilty of the doing the chores thing while on the phone to my Mum, I'll pop on the loudspeaker and clean the fish tank or cook or wash up or whatever - might as well do something productive while you're on the phone for half an hour! (Mainly in listening rather than speaking mode!)
I have no idea if it pisses her off (probably does!) but I do concentrate on what she's saying - honest! |

Arm tappers should all be put in straight jackets!
It makes me irrationally angry too - along with the other space invaders that feel the need to be as close to you as possible when speaking so you can smell their breath!
Or the people in queues that feel the need to take a step forward every time you do so they're so close that you can feel their breath on the back of your neck!

I have a work colleague who constantly talks in catch phrased.
Realistically
If you know what I mean
In a manner of speaking
Are you with me?
Bloody infuriating! |

Griff Rhys Jones and his unnecessary sharp intakes of breath at the end of a sentence.
Not to mention his pal Dara O'Briain and his habit of finishing every sentence with "ERRRR".
Oooooo that makes me MAD!

That's just made me think of the hypnotist on little Brittan. Look into my eyes not around my eyes but into my eyes 3 2 1 and your under..
One of my customers always says "Know what I mean" yup its annoying |
