When you're seeing yourself in the mirror, how much of your self viewing is positive or critical? Other than for makeup or shaving etc, would you be better not to use a mirror?

I avoid mirrors at all costs. Teeth brushing, hair brushing and makeup only. That's it!! Don't like it!!! Never have dint think I ever will.

Yeah, as soon as I look in tne mirror I see me mum looking at me, very of putting when going out for a meet haha!

Depends on the day, really. Sometimes I feel great, sometimes I don't. It really depends on my mood.

Most days I don't even look in the mirror (I don't put on makeup or do my hair). There just isn't much to look at.

I look so much better in the mirror than i do in Photos....i can't be the only one that thinks what the fuck happens between mirror and photo??

I agree there - I think something went wrong with digital cameras, as I'm converted to a Disney monster.

As for mirrors, I make the error of looking when I feel awful, like at 5 in the morning or very late at night. I've just seen red, tired eyes, a few minutes ago.

I can see the benefits in not using one.

Face I'm happy with in the mirror, body not quite so much, I moved the bed recently and there is a huge mirror just where I get up, I look in it every morning and thing 'yuk!'

So many women on here don't use mirrors. Especially when turning left.
