Felt it coming on yesterday felt a bit sicky and the lymph node in my neck has gone massive which usually happens on the rare occasions I'm ill. My skin feels boiling as well but I'm a bit shivvery then warm again. Bottom feels bubbly like I can't trust a fart. Belly is just bleurgh, was sick earlier twice, now just trying to lay here quiet. |

If it's viral, like norovirus, you will be poorly for 48/72 hrs, and weak for a day or two more.
if it's bacterial, salmonella, campylobacter etc, you will have more like a week of nastiness.
lots of fluid, normal painkillers/fever medication and two buckets by your bed.
if you pass any blood get to a GP.

Rehydration salts are always useful things to have in the house, (Good for hangovers as well ).. drink lots keep warm and if you're no better in a few days ring your Dr..

I know there are some horrible bugs going around at the moment though, so yes make sure you sip water to stay hydrated

Last time i had it i ended up "shitting yellow". Apparently it's the fat that lines your small intestine! Crazy huh?! *the more you know*. I hope for your sake your toilet is next to the basin. Much easier when you go for a "grand slam"...  |

Sip water slowly! Try not to eat anything at all when I had it everytime I felt ok and tried to eat it set me off again! 3 days of just sipping water and I was ok.
Unfortunately I had it and so did my lad who was only 3 at the time! That was not a fun time in this house!!! |

You dont need to phone a doctor or get medication for a sickness bug. Unless you can't keep fluids down and get dehydrated. |

Op I feel sorry for you .Once I had been out and felt poorly after a few days. I had food poisoning and while running to toilet I fell downstairs .Had to go into hospital to get my knees drained as had fluid on them .Doctor was laughing as he didn't know what to say to me .I thought it was funny afterwards .  |

I know that's the annoying thing about it, it's inevitable that my child is gonna get it. Shes put herself to bed and she's keeping her distance cos she said she doesn't want my germs! |

There has been a sickness and diarrhea bug going around that keeps recurring. You feel better after a couple of days and eat,then it comes back. I starved my grandchildren for two days. Just toast and Lucozade. No meat or dairy. |

I cop for every bug going because Small brings them home (think theyre the class pet it happens so often). Bed or settee til the worst passes then wash everything in your house - twice. Buy shares in bleach too. Get well soon |

Feeling better today thanks. Must've been a 2 day bug with yesterday being the worst, didn't even get to watch the second half of emmerdale, I had to go to bed I felt so rough. |
