Is there anyone else who's incredibly put off by it? I understand it's different strokes for different folks and maybe it's down to my past, but if a man brought that up or the whole school girl thing, then I'd be backing the fuck off. |

I find anything referring to children disturbing, especially when people kick off about paedophiles, then request someone to dress in a uniform worn solely by children.

Not really relevant as I wouldn't have sex with anyone remotely old enough to be my dad - and if a young guy called me mummy or similar during sex then the meet would end right there!

A couple of years back I met a guy nearly 20 years younger who wanted me to call him daddy! I couldn't get my head round it at all. I wonder if it's because of porn ? |

Firstly.. in the D/s or fet context, prolly 90% of the time it is NOT anything to do with 'age play' - to put it delicately.
But the term 'Daddy' or 'Daddydom' does not do anything for me in the slightest. But if people enjoy it, then fair play. |

"Isn't the whole "daddy/baby girl" thing from black american culture? I've seen quite a few homemade movies where that's the way they talk.
"
OH has only one experience with a black guy he kept on calling her babygirl, it put her right off and ruined her sisters pet name for her. |

I don't like being called "girl" so "babygirl" wouldn't be comfortable for me and at 59 years old either term is ridiculous. However it does seem to be acceptable for men to call women babe and for both sexes to use the word girl to refer to women it's only only one step further and if both parties enjoy it...why not. |

My understanding is that it comes under BDSM and the Daddy or Mummy, is the nurturing, disciplining type of Dominant.
You have to remember that in BDSM, sex isn't always the focal point.
No I haven't experienced it. |

I've done this with a guy I used to know.
It's not sick nor does it have anything to do with being a kiddie fiddler.
As it's already been said it's about domination and control. It's no different than any other role play |

Age play has different dynamics. Sometimes it's sexual, others it's really not. Daddy Doms may be called so because of the way they carry out their D/s relationship with perhaps more structure, nurturing and guidance. Not all age players regress to younger years. I don't find it creepy nor do I find ulterior motives.
It's way more common than you think but people don't like to admit it.
I'm happy to do age play role play sexually. I like the school girl thing. I have a certain age I will 'play' and the term is called middle. I don't particularly 'little' or 'baby' but stick to that teen mentality.
For me, age play, whether it's sexual or not, is pretty freeing. It's quite often very playful and silly and I only do it with those that truly understand the dynamic. It's a very safe place to experiment.
Daddy Doms that I've had in the past haven't been older than I but they do take on a 'caretaker' role with me. Not physically but mentally.
I get why people can't relate to this kind of play but it's very very similar for me to when I pet play with the ears and tail. I don't really identify as an animal but it's the playfulness or the restriction and perhaps having some of my grown up or human traits prohibited. |

However I thought the dom/master/mistress was about the nurturing and guidance of a sub so not sure I see there is a difference |

I had a daddy/girl relationship with a man for a couple of years. It's not incest roleplay for most people.
It's more like... the way that my Nan used to call my Granddad 'Dad'. It was quite common terminology for your male partner. They were, after all, taking responsibility for you and looking after you when you left your parents.
If I call a man 'Daddy' it's a term of affection and endearment. That he looks out for me in some way, and it's a close bond relationship where we both feed off each others strengths. |

Some people play it that way, not everyone does. I don't nurture or guide my subs. |

There are lots of different types of dominants as there are types of submissives. They can overlap or change depending on the chemistry of the relationship. There is no right or wrong way of doing. Just different personalities. |

"It's very disturbing and wrong on so many levels makes my stomach twist at the thought "
It makes your stomach twist that someone gives someone else a nickname that they both agree with and like? |

Some of the best sex I've had is doing Age Play. its just a role play. I like taboo play. I only do legal and consensual. Nothing wrong about two consenting adults playing about. |

It's not so cut and dried as some people think it is, you have littles, middles baby girls brats daddy doms and so on and so on
I remember when I first came across these age play dynamics, I felt uncomfortable even hearing the terminology, but as I have learned more and met people in the lifestyle, I have learned that it has nothing to do with pedophiles, and more to do with the LEVEL of nurturing within the dynamic.
As someone finds out about this dynamic cold, it's going to be a big shock to the system, and protective instincts will kick in, but I truly believe of the bdsm community, if there was any threat to vulnerable adults or children stemming from this dynamic, it would have been stamped out years ago, consent is the cornerstone of our community, I have seen people shunned and lose all friends and standing in the community for breaching consent, and that's as it should be, to outsiders, we look like wife beaters, and abusers, when nothing in my experience could be further from the truth.
Safe, Sane, and Concentual is the motto, and quite frankly I would personally put more trust in my friends from the bdsm community than a lot of vanilla people I know |

I had a father and son 'tag team' once write to me. Don't know about anyone else, but to me, that sounded soooo wrong and creepy. What were they going to do next, involve the mother and sister too? |

I guess just going to a club and fucking random people would creep a lot of people out too! As Wasp (and others) have said... It's safe and consensual between adults. It might not be your thing but it is allowed to be other peoples'.
I love being called "baby" as a term of endearment. And "baby I want to fuck you" is about the sexiest statement in the world to me. Yet I call my daughter "baby girl" all the time.

Don't find it creepy at all, more that it just sounds really silly. It's obviously not linked in any way to anything genuinely inappropriate, so if people enjoy it in their own consensual scenarios, good for them.
Like pretty much any kink, if it's not your thing, it will often appear ridiculous. |

I call Bradley "Daddy" but not in a sexual/Dom way. I'm just so used to saying it around the kids (as obviously they know him as Daddy) it's kind of stuck and sometimes I forget when we're on our own..
