Coconut oil pulling for white teeth

hiding from cock pics.

I keep hearing about the process of swishing coconut oil around in your mouth for both health benefits and tooth whitening.

It takes about 20 minutes a day and it's supposed to clear bacteria off your teeth and help with gum disease in addition to whitening your teeth. This is of course on top of your normal tooth care. Has anybody tried this as I am keen to learn more and to try it?

I've been doing it on and off for a few months.I usually forget tbh,but afterwards my teeth do feel cleaner at least.I haven't done it often enough to say if they are whiter.

Get a big jar of coconut oil online if from Holland & Barret rather than these Coco White sachets-much better value.

Hope this helps...

Your teeth and mouth feel fantastic after it i recommend a tiny bit of Himalayan salt with it for extra benefits and say good bye to bad breath

Do you melt the oil with water?

You just pop it in your mouth and it melts into liquid

Take a look at research results published in reputable scientific journals. I've not used this, nor read the literature. Bur always do it, before embarking on a goose chase or spending money and effort on something that may have no credible backing etc. Or could be the best thing I'll ever pursue.

I've been concerned for some time though about palm tree cultivation, following destruction of huge chunks of the rain forests - it's potentially awful for the world. This palm tree milk may not be an issue though.

Took a peek and there's minimal scientific research into it and minimal evidence of some effect.

I'm skeptical about whitening claims, as it's not a bleaching agent though - and no evidence.

It may help keep plaque at bay, like a mouthwash could. Minimal evidence of this level of benefit. And that should help - or may help - with gum issues.

Certainly don't use it instead of brushing and flossing. And a fluoride mouthwash would likely be better as it can do the same as oil but help flouride access your teeth, helping to prevent cavities.

Coconut oil is a fantastic cure for thrush as well as it kills the bacteria that causes thrush.

When I was boarder line diabetic had a bad case of thrush so I know this works well
