Love it when I've answered with a 'no thanks' or a 'sorry, I'm back down south' or some such and get a message thanking me just for replying.

As a single guy I will Thankyou ladies, and I met one online just last night, who take the time with no risks to share a few in boxes before making a decision about us.
There are many half decent single guys out there but we seem to get a lot if bad press.
The other thing while were on a relative subject. How hard is it to reply to an inbox with a no thanks? Manners cosy nothing and I was raised to answer any enquiry with an appropriate reply but always a reply. |

I had to chuckle at this. The vast majority of the second messages I send are along the lines of 'thanks for the reply and good luck'. I seldom get the opportunity to send a second message though because I seldom get a reply to the first. Its nice to be appreciated though. |

Considering the percentage of messages that I send that don't get replied to (I understand why) I do say thanks for letting me know to those who reply telling me they're not interested. |

I'm always polite and never send any "fancy a fuck" messages, is always nice to get a thanks but no thanks I return.
I sent a message to a couple ( couple of days after joining )after reading their profile and fitting what they were after and got in return " no pics, no veris, no fucking chance of meeting us"
Seems being polite doesn't always work, but that won't stop be being polite in a message |

That's really rude!!! We have lovely messages and never had anything bad from single guys. Couples can be funny though and have had the odd nasty message from them x |

That's really rude!!! We have lovely messages and never had anything bad from single guys. Couples can be funny though and have had the odd nasty message from them x"
I agree ... just wait until you are in a couple yourself, and those rude couples will soon change their tune. I do wonder if its the male of female being rude ... |

Some of us do try to be polite and courteous and take a no thank you with a nice reply. Certainly I get a lot of practice at it ... 
But as I was told when I first started all this "As a single bloke if you can't take a knockback get out of Swinging!" |

I can honestly say I have always been polite and never gave anybody any abuse, if you have got to resort to getting nasty instead of just leaving it then they are very sad individuals lol |

I always try to be civil & polite, be it in a PM, or when meeting, particularly if it's a first one
Treat as you would like to be treated - in real life, not a fantasy scenario (unless by pre arrangement!) |

A 'thanks for reply good luck and take care' is a standard reply and should be at all times...It is nice to read here that it is more common than sometimes stated on forums, so thanks for mentioning it |
