He filled my path with leaves, broken branches, next doors takeaway rubbish and a whole host of other things only two days after I'd spent hours clearing it!!
Not complaining though. I've got away lightly . |

This naming of our low pressure systems... where's this suddenly come from?? Awareness of impending inclement weather comes from just watching a forecast. Like we've had for decades.
Seems we're dumbing everything down these days. Gives the likes of the Express newspaper another excuse for sensationalism.
It's hardly a Typhoon, Cyclone or Hurricane that's approaching us, is it.

You need sea temperatures above 26 degrees to get hurricanes!
Landscape is formed by the inclement weather, therefore when the weather gets above it's normal you get problems, it doesn't have to be severe just severer than normal.
Ive got no feelings either way about naming weather systems, I followed them anyway but it might help people who didn't |

"like my kids - arrive here - make their prescence felt - then disappear leaving the mess to be cleared up "
Story of my bloody life!
Not too far from you OP but apart from dreadful rain, it's been ok. No damage thankfully feeling for those who have been flooded etc tho! |
