Whats the best way of navigating this place. I seem to put up a message then either sit there waiting or loose the thread and end up somewhere else. Ta

From the main forum menu choose Recent Threads You Have Posted To

The green arrow next to your name shows all the threads you posted to.

You can also skip to your last post on a thread.
