"Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Cabin in the Woods or Wrong Turn series or Wolf Creek "
Wolf Creek was one of the few films that had an effect on me. Especially as it was based on things that actually happened. |

I'm yet to find a film to scare me.
Midnight Meat Train was a good film but not scary.
The last one that I found unpalatable was A Serbian Film. Not scary as such. Just fucked up beyond belief.
When I'm looking for horror I tend to go old school with Childs Play, Children of the Corn, The Exorcist etc. Seen them all and not scary but fun to watch. |

"Do love horror films. Especially the gory ones. Not much seems to scare me, although Woman in Black did a bit."
I found Woman in Black quite an enjoyable film. A little jumpy in places but I don't class that as scary. Although it is fun watching my housemate literally jump out of her seat with a scream! |

Didn't rate the new one. Preferred the old one. But find that withany films.
The Fog (original) wasn't bad. House of 1000 corpses for gory horror. I spit on your Grave (original) for a bit of revenge gore. |

Scary is great but I don't appreciate masses of violence. Got together with neighbors in Slut Salon and Saw or Hostel freaked us a bit so watched Bambi instead
I've seen them since but they're not fully my cup of tea. I'd readily scream if spooked.
But we're not going to get frightened like I did when young with Frankenstein etc - we've grown out of it.
Watching the proposals to see if something takes my fancy. |

"halloween ,, the rob zombie remake "
I liked the first one the 2007 remake it was more violent and gory I especially liked seeing the evolution of michaels insanity dwell into his years at the mental hospital then his escape too..
the second one was al right but the dream parts and his mother in the white outfit parts were a bit weird.. |

hmmm, you have me stumped. I find nothing scares me at all film wise, and I love horrors. (the more fucked up the better).
try Bad boy Bubby. proper mental aussie film. should disturb you a bit, rather than be scary.
what are you like with foreign films you have to 'read'?? (if you haven't got into them, then you are missing a LOT of hidden gems
try Old man (the korean one, not the shitty yank remake) and Man eats Dog... if you hate those, then I'm no good giving you film suggestions.
Look out for Landmine goes click. very recent film (released a few weeks ago). the first hour seemed shite, then it literally turned into a VERY different film. |

Shrooms, wasn't too bad
Mum and dad, Erm nuts
Rec, Spanish horror not bad either. Korean and Japanese horror thrillers are usually better. Have fun

Any of the Saw films does me, just a shame they killed of Jigsaw so early on as his legacy only works for a short time then it loses its story. I suppose that's what happens when a different director steps in, it changes the dynamic. |
