If you're ordering festive gifts online, don't forget to look. Just ordered nearly £200 worth of Thornton's chocolate, typed into Google for voucher codes and got 22.5% off - nice

Central

Also before buying anything online check to see if any cash-back sites offer cash for your custom. There are 2 main ones imo, topcashback and quidco.

Your purchase is always with the retailer, but these sites get commission from them and give a chunk to you. They also accept some discount codes but it can invalidate cash back if you use an unauthorized one.

Eg, you want to buy £100 of stuff from Boots, which could be 10% cash-back, so you get paid £10 by the cash back site, once the retailer pays them. Sometimes it's a fixed £ amount, or a percentage.

Holidays, flights, most shops, car breakdown recovery, Broadband, mobile phone contracts and most stuff you could buy are included.

The cash back sites can be free to register with or take a small fee - of any commission once received, such as £5 per year.

Don't buy on the strength of cash back but it almost always gets paid to you. You get the cash as either a payment to your bank or PayPal or via credits such as Amazon vouchers, that may be for even more than you've earned. I've had over £2000 back so happy with it. Quite a few Fab users use these services.
