Titz Towers, North Notts

This is now out!

No great surprises on the day itself, Strictly, Who, Midwife, Brown's Boys, Downton for those who bother with ITV.

I remember as a kid pouring over the pages, highlighting the shows and films I wanted to see. Crimbo TV was an event then!

Now it's the same predictable drivel

I remember the radio times and TV times was the big event in our house as a kid, no one was allowed near it until the old man had sat and had a look through it first

"Any decent films on?"

Put it one way, apart from Indiana Jones, all I can say is that Madagascar is on. Everything else seems a bit second best in my view.

Sherlock - NYD

Dr No and from Russia with Love is on. I think Skyfall is on ITV2, but I don't watch that channel.

What about Morecombe and Wise and the 2 Ronnies? You know it is Christmas when they are on, still better than most modern British comedy's.

I used to love it when the radio and TV times came out as a kid. I'd plan Xmas day from about 6 and get all excited at it all. Nowadays it seems like they're just repeating the same stuff over and over and it's got to the point where I'll probs just watch gold all day and see the programmes I used to watch back in the 80s lol
