I once fell asleep whilst watching a stage play at the Oxford Playhouse. Not sure how long I slept for but I was really embarrassed when I woke in front row seats and the cast glaring at me. Anyone else had an embarrassing moment of tiredness? |

I have a colleague who falls asleep at his puter at work.
He stays bolt up with his eyes closed but to trick us all into thinking he is still awake he makes strange circular motions with his mouse.
I once got everyone in the room while he was sleeping and we all screamed at him at the same time, aaah happy days |

I was invited round to a lady friends for a cup of tea and whatever might follow.
She fell asleep at 9pm, and I left quietly at midnight, wonder what she thought when she woke up in the chair.
although we are still friends!!! |

Few years ago I heard very loud clattering and screaming.
I JUMPED awake! Everyone around me was clapping like mad so I did it too and sat up straighter.
My daughter next to me said ......oh get lost mother you snored through the entire second half !
I wiped the dribble from my cheek n thought ........oh yeah we went to Les Mis ......
Crap innit .... |

Turn left at the Singing Ringing Tree |
My old boss had a reputation for falling asleep in his office and in meetings. He was such a brain box that the firm overlooked it.
He was in one meeting and fell asleep. The others in the meeting thought that he must have fallen asleep due to the room being stuffy. So in a bid to wake him up gently, they opened the door and the cool air started circulating.
lol, oh he woke up alright, got up, walked to the door, shut it, went back to his seat and promptly went back to sleep. |

Fell asleep in a meeting whilst working during my placement year at uni... had only been there a couple of weeks and so nearly got the sack for that - my boss was absolutely livid!
I've fallen asleep numerous times when I've taken Carambar Jr to the cinema to watch a kids' film... those 3D glasses are ace for hiding it, but the snoring does give it away a bit.
I've also fallen asleep catching the last train from Bath to Bristol and woke up halfway through the Severn Tunnel. They refused to stop the train to let me get off, so I had to stay on until Cardiff. Luckily a friend lived there so I crashed on his sofa for the night then caught the early train back to Bristol. |

"yeah after that i never did it again.
i stop at most service areas even if its just to get off the bike and have a walk around and go to the toilet.
"
In France last year I stopped at services for a kip. Normally, I just put the bike on sidestand, feet on pegs, then lean forward and rest head on tank bag, happy days, no need to even take my lid off.
Unfortunately, the place I stopped this time was on a slight incline, so I could only just get the side stand down (ie. the bike was sitting almost upright, not leaning over on the stand). I fell asleep, then jerked (oo-er) awake with the sensation of falling.... I'd moved and the bike overbalanced.
Managed to leap clear, but it scared the crap out of some poor Frenchwoman who had just walked past! |
