I recieved a message earlier today that said 'h r u bby?'
(Not on here mods before you tell me off!! ) "
Gosh you almost got a whole sentence, that is more than I generally get. Most of my contacts are either dyslexic blind people or message me every 5 minutes as if I am going to change my mind and succumb to their (lack of) charm.  |

Lol, the guy that sent it is my friends friends ex and it was on facebook messenger. Ive since found out that he's sent it to 2 other friends of hers.
So it would appear that he's trawling her friends list for people to message.

The definition for most of those garbage messages is 'to delete/horse shite', so Samuel Johnson won't need to be raised from the dead, to create an extensive dictionary.
Lazy gobshites mostly - imagine their effort levels in the sack, if a few letters is so hard to write. |

Text spk stems from the days when you paid per message and the messages had a very small amount of characters. This meant people would abbreviate their words to fit into one message. Thus txt spk was born. |

I far too old to 'get' what the kids are into these days. I do know certain family members abbreviate OK into just 'K' which really grinds my gears! Like that's a phrase that needs further abbreviating! |
